Home workouts – The training that actually gets done 🏡💪
Have you heard the phrase “all exercise is good exercise”?
There’s actually a lot of truth in that. No matter what type of training you do, it contributes to better health, more energy, and improved well-being ✨
That’s exactly why we at Livity have created lots of training programs and workouts that you can do at home. When you work out at home, the barrier to getting started becomes much smaller—you don’t need advanced equipment, you don’t have to go anywhere, and you don’t have to fit a specific schedule.
You can simply start working out right away, exactly as you are 🤍
But can you actually get results from working out at home? 🤔
This is a question I hear often. Many people think home workouts don’t produce results—but that’s actually a myth.
You can absolutely challenge yourself at home, in many different ways.
One type of training I personally love is PLYO (plyometric training) 🔥 It’s an intense form of exercise that is often done using only body weight and explosive movements. And I can promise you—it can be really tough.
If you train plyometrically on a regular basis, you can:
build strength and muscle mass 💪
improve your explosiveness ⚡
boost your cardio fitness and endurance 🫀
strengthen your body and become more athletic 🏃♀️
And all of this can be done at home in your living room using just your body weight. Sounds pretty amazing, right? ✨
Other types of training you can easily do at home
🧘♀️ Pilates
Pilates is perfect if you want to strengthen your body in a gentle yet effective way. The focus is on core strength, control, and stability. Regular Pilates training can improve your posture, strengthen your core, and reduce the risk of injury. Many people also find that Pilates helps reduce stress and increase body awareness.
🏃♀️ Running
Running is one of the most accessible forms of exercise there is—you really only need a pair of shoes. It’s fantastic for cardiovascular fitness, strengthens the heart, and improves endurance. Running can also be a great way to get fresh air, clear your mind, and get a mental boost 🌿
🏋️♀️ Strength training at home
Strength training doesn’t have to mean a fully equipped gym. With a pair of dumbbells—or even with items you already have at home—you can build strength and muscle. Strength training not only strengthens muscles but also joints and bones, improves posture, and makes the body more resilient in everyday life.
❤️ At Livity, you’ll find programs within all of these types of training.
📺 We also offer follow-along workouts, where you can easily start a session on your TV at home and train together with our coaches ✨ Perfect when you want guidance, structure, and a little extra motivation during your workout.
5 simple tips to make home workouts happen
1. Choose workouts you actually enjoy 😍
When exercise feels fun, it becomes much easier to stick to the routine.
2. Have a plan 📝
Follow a training program so you always know what to do. It reduces the risk of postponing the workout—or skipping it altogether.
3. Work out before the couch calls 🛋️
Once you’ve settled into the couch after a long day, it’s easy to stay there. Try to work out before you sit down for the evening.
4. Lower the threshold ⏱️
Decide to work out for just 10–15 minutes. Often, once you’ve started, you’ll want to keep going.
5. Create a routine 🔁
Try to work out on the same days and at the same times every week. When exercise becomes a habit, you no longer have to negotiate with your motivation.
Final thoughts 💫
Remember: the best workout isn’t the one that looks the most advanced—it’s the one that actually gets done.
Whether you exercise for 10 minutes in the living room, do a Pilates session on your mat, or go for a run around the block, you’re doing something amazing for your body and your well-being ❤️
And we at Livity are here to support you all the way 🤍
