Roasted Almonds

Ingredients
1 cup sweet almonds
1/4 cup sweetener (or sugar)
1 tsp cinnamon
A pinch of salt
1/2 cup water
Instructions
Lightly roast almonds in a frying pan.
Add water and sweetener (or sugar) and cook until the sugar has melted and formed crystals.
Heat the water in a saucepan until just below boiling.
Pour out the almonds onto parchment paper and let them cool and harden.
Once the almonds have hardened, sprinkle a bit more sugar/sweetener and cinnamon over them. Mix well to evenly coat the almonds.
Allow the almonds to cool completely and store them in an airtight container.
