
Peel and cut the potatoes into large cubes. Put them in a colander and rinse in running cold water for a while. Then let them drain.
Peel and chop the onion. Cut the meat into large cubes. Fry the potatoes until soft and nicely colored. Season with salt and pepper. Add the onion and meat and fry for a few minutes. Taste with more salt and pepper if needed.
Serve with fried eggs, beets and a salad.
