It’s so easy to think that change requires a completely new you – and we’ve all been there.
You know… “This is it!!” – the new workout plan, the meal prep, the new routines… all at once. And sure, it can feel great for a few days. But then life happens. Everyday routines kick in. And suddenly, things don’t go as planned.
But you know what? It doesn’t have to be all or nothing. My best tip? A little at a time is the way to go 🪜
Let go of the pressure
You don’t have to perform every day. You don’t have to follow everything perfectly. And you absolutely don’t need to feel guilty for eating something outside your meal plan or skipping a workout.
It’s not about always getting it right. It’s about doing something, often.
And most importantly: keeping it up even when it’s not perfect 💓
Realistic goals = sustainable results
Want to know one of the most important things I’ve learned?
Small steps every day > an all-in overhaul.
I know it’s tempting to “start over” every Monday. But what really makes a difference over time is what you can actually stick to – even when you’re tired, stressed, or not feeling your best.
So my advice? Set goals that are realistic. Goals you can hold onto even when life gets messy.
The 1% method – my favorite reminder
I love the 1% method. It reminds me that getting just a little bit better each day is enough.
Not perfect. Not a whole new person. Just a little more of what makes me feel good 🥳
A short walk. A home-cooked lunch. An evening without screens. A few pages of a book before bed.
It's those small things that build a sustainable foundation.
Eating without restrictions – 80/20 really works
I know a lot of people want to start the year with “cleanses” or “detoxes” – but at Livity, we believe in balance, not restriction.
Think of it this way: 80% of the time, you fuel your body with food that makes you feel good – nourishing, colorful, satisfying. And 20% is totally free.
There’s room for chocolate, fika, and chips – life fits into your goals 🍫🍪🍬

In conclusion
💫 It doesn’t have to be new year = new you.
💫 It can be new year = kinder you.
One that builds habits that last, even on tired days. One that listens to the body, not the calendar. And one that makes room for both green smoothies and chocolate – because that’s how you create sustainability.
